First Annual Slamdance Festival Posters and Logo

Slamdance Festival began in 1995 focused on low-budget, emerging filmmakers held annually in Park City, Utah. In 2010, Slamdance partnered with Microsoft for year-round programming and is known as a serious festival of discoveries. The logo represents the festival mascot, Sparky, which has become a unique fixture to the festival. Printed on discarded stock at the oldest printshop in Los Angeles. Slamdance receives over 7,500 submissions per annum.
